My Adhan (iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Windows)
Last updated: 6 August 2026
Canonical URL: http://35.224.87.86/privacy
Summary for Apple App Store users. My Adhan is designed to work primarily on your device. We do not sell your personal data, we do not use your data for tracking across other companies’ apps or websites, and we do not show third‑party ads. Location is used to calculate prayer times, Qibla, weather, and related clock features. An optional remote server connection (off by default) may send limited technical data described below.
1. Who we are
My Adhan (“the App”, “we”, “us”) provides Islamic prayer times, Qibla direction, weather context, Adhan audio, learning materials, and related clock features on Apple and Windows devices.
Contact for privacy questions: sarwarikamran6@gmail.com
2. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the My Adhan mobile and desktop applications and to the My Adhan service hosted at http://35.224.87.86 (including /privacy, downloads, and optional API features). It is the policy linked from the App’s first‑launch acceptance screen and Settings.
3. Data we process (aligned with Apple’s nutrition labels)
Apple asks developers to disclose data that may be collected. Depending on how you use My Adhan, the following categories may apply:
| Apple category | Examples in My Adhan | Linked to you? | Used for tracking? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Location | Precise location on device to compute prayer times, Qibla, local weather, and alerts. Optional coarse city/country (not a street address) may be sent for clock registration / presence when online. | On device: used locally. Coarse city/country may be stored on our server for admin presence. | No |
| Identifiers | A random app‑generated clock / device identifier (not your Apple ID). Used so your saved address can be reclaimed after reinstall. | Yes, to that clock ID only — never your Apple ID or email unless you type a display name yourself. | No |
| Product interaction / diagnostics (limited) | Optional check‑in or API usage tied to your clock ID; basic server logs (IP, time, path) for security and reliability. | May be associated with clock ID or IP for a short period in logs. | No |
| Other user content (optional) | Optional display name you choose (not Apple ID). Address you save for your clock if you use remote address sync. | Yes, to your clock ID if you save it. | No |
| Purchases | If you buy a subscription or redeem a code, Apple processes payment. We may store entitlement / redeem status for your clock ID. | Entitlement tied to clock ID / Apple’s purchase token as applicable — not sold. | No |
Data we do not collect
- Your Apple ID, iCloud email, or password
- Contacts, photos, microphone recordings, health data, or browsing history from other apps
- Advertising IDs for ads or data‑broker profiles
- Precise GPS coordinates on our servers (server receives coarse city/country only for optional presence / reclaim)
4. How the App uses data on your device
By default, prayer times, Qibla, Hijri date, weather lookups needed for the dial, bundled Adhan audio, logos, and blessings text can be stored on your device so the App works offline.
- Location (on device): Used to calculate prayer times and Qibla and to request weather/alerts for your area.
- Local settings: Calculation method, language, audio choices, and similar preferences stay in on‑device storage (for example App preferences / local files).
- Media: Default Fajr and regular Adhan MP3s ship inside the app. You may optionally pick your own local MP3 files in Settings (they stay on device). Learn Prayer opens YouTube externally — the App does not download teaching video or Adhan MP3s from our server.
5. Limited network features (no remote prayer mode)
My Adhan calculates prayer times, weather context, and Qibla on device. There is no Settings toggle to pull prayer schedules from a remote “Use remote server” mode.
When online, the App may still contact our service at http://35.224.87.86 / adhan.ticktock.space for text‑style features such as:
- Saving or reclaiming a clock address under your clock ID
- Optional check‑in with coarse city/country and optional display name
- Redeeming access codes / checking entitlement
- Dial logo metadata / blessings wording (small text/images — not Adhan MP3 or Learn Prayer video files)
First‑launch Privacy acceptance is required before using the App; the Privacy Policy link opens this page.
6. Third‑party services
Depending on features you use, the App or server may contact:
- YouTube — Learn Prayer opens in the YouTube app or browser when you tap Learn Prayer (no video file download from our servers)
- Open‑Meteo — weather data (location‑based query)
- Apple — App Store, StoreKit purchases, operating system location/privacy controls
- Google Maps Platform (if configured on the server) — map/street imagery or geocoding helpers for address features
- Public data sources (for example government alert feeds, solar imagery) when those features are enabled
Those providers process requests under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell your information to them for advertising.
7. Tracking, advertising, and sale of data
- We do not track you across apps and websites owned by other companies for advertising.
- We do not display third‑party advertisements in My Adhan.
- We do not sell personal information.
- NSPrivacyTracking in our Apple Privacy Manifest is set to false.
8. Children
My Adhan is a general‑audience utility. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 for marketing. If you believe a child has provided personal data to our server, contact us and we will delete it where applicable.
9. Retention
- On device: Data remains until you delete the App, clear app data, or use an installer/update that wipes local caches.
- On server: Clock records (ID, coarse location, optional display name, saved address, entitlement flags) are kept while the clock remains active or until deletion is requested. Routine web server logs are rotated and kept only as long as needed for security and operations.
10. Your choices and rights
- Deny or revoke Location permission in iOS/macOS Settings; some features will be limited.
- Prayer times stay on-device; optional network is limited to reclaim / redeem / check-in / logos / blessings text / entitlement — not media downloads.
- Delete the App to remove on‑device data (Keychain clock ID may persist on Apple platforms for reclaim unless removed).
- Email sarwarikamran6@gmail.com to request deletion or correction of server‑side clock data associated with your clock ID.
If you are in a region with additional privacy rights (for example GDPR/CCPA‑style access or deletion rights), contact us with your clock ID and we will respond within a reasonable time.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect server data (access‑controlled admin, hashed session cookies, least‑privilege process user). No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. Prefer HTTPS when available; during infrastructure transitions the service may be reachable over HTTP at the IP above — avoid sending secrets in chat or email.
12. International users
Our servers may be hosted in the United States (Google Cloud) or other regions we operate. Limited network features (reclaim, redeem, check-in) may process related information in those locations.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Material changes will be reflected on this page, which remains the URL shown in the App. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law. We may ask you to accept again in the App when required.
14. Apple App Store privacy disclosures
The App Store “App Privacy” labels for My Adhan should be read together with this policy. If labels and this page ever differ, this page describes our current practices; we will update labels when Apple review allows.
