Core prayer times and Qibla do not need the internet. Weather and alerts refresh when the network is available. The Learn Prayer teaching video downloads once from the server and plays offline.

100% free — Mac/Windows installers remove the previous My Adhan copy and local caches first, then install clean (Keychain / ProgramData clock ID kept for reclaim).

Mac

Download PKG Download Setup DMG

Install on the Mac that will show the clock. The PKG preinstall wipes the old app first.

Windows

Download Setup EXE

Full wizard: Welcome → License → folder → Progress → Finish. Wipes prior install first.

Install order

  1. Pick your platform. Mac → PKG (or Setup DMG). Windows → Setup EXE. iPhone → TestFlight / App Store when available.
  2. Run the wizard to Finish. Do not stop at the DMG window — open the installer and click through until Summary / Finish.
  3. Launch My Adhan, accept the Privacy Policy (opens http://35.224.87.86/privacy), and allow Location once.
If macOS blocks the app: right-click My Adhan → Open → Open. Windows SmartScreen: More info → Run anyway (unsigned build).

Mac — Setup wizard

Open the DMG → double-click Install My Adhan.pkg → Continue through Welcome / License / Install. The preinstall removes any previous My Adhan.app and local caches, then installs the new build into Applications.

Windows — Setup wizard

Run My-Adhan-Windows-Setup.exe. The installer stops any running copy, deletes the old install folder and AppData caches, then installs clean. Durable clock ID under ProgramData is kept for reclaim.

iPhone — install options

Apple does not allow a public App Store–free OTA installer (no Enterprise account). Choose one:

  1. TestFlight (recommended). Install the free TestFlight app, open the invite / public link from App Store Connect, tap Install. Builds last 90 days. FAMILY / external groups may need “Add Build” once in App Store Connect after each upload.
  2. USB from a Mac (developer). Plug in the phone, unlock, Trust, Developer Mode on. On the Mac run ./app/install_iphone.sh 786 — it uninstalls the old app first, then installs the latest Release build. Personal Team free signing expires in ~7 days; paid Apple Developer ($99/yr) lasts up to a year.
  3. IPA download (advanced). When a signed IPA is published under /downloads/, install with Apple Configurator, Xcode Devices, or a sideload tool (AltStore / Sideloadly). Same Apple signing limits apply — not an unlimited App Store substitute.

TestFlight cannot run a Mac-style preinstall wipe. Delete the app once on-device before installing a new TestFlight build if you need a full local reset. Keychain clock ID is kept across reinstalls.
